ºÚÁÏÍø Global Week:

• Celebrates and recognises the contribution of our international students and staff to the culture and life of the University and the wider region. The diversity of our student and staff bodies creates enormous opportunities, not just within ºÚÁÏÍø Global Week, but on an ongoing basis, for increased understanding and respect for other cultures both within the University and in the wider communities within which we are based.
• Highlights the importance of global citizenship / awareness for our home students and provides them with a broader perspective on the world we live in. It is more important than ever for our students to understand the wider world and their place within it to help them to thrive, reach their full potential, and learn how they can play their part in finding solutions to some of the global challenges we face.
• Recognises and learns from the contribution made by the University in addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, working together with partner universities, governments, alumni and other key stakeholders across the world.
